  5.  17 Bit Software Disk 22 - FONT DISK 1

  7.  This disk consists of 30+ custom fonts for you to
  8.  use in your own programs or other programs such as
  9.  Dpaint 2 etc.
  10.  
  11.  Because Dpaint can only read about 18 fonts at a 
  12.  time without commiting hari-kari I have renamed
  13.  the ones I don't use often, so forcing Dpaint
  14.  just to read my particular favourites.

  16.  E.g. Didn't want the TOPAZ font, so...
  17.  
  18.       In the FONTS directory...
  19.  
  20.       Renamed Topaz.font to Topaz.fon
  21.  
  22.       (Hacked the 't' off!)
  23.  
  24.       Result: It becomes invisible to Dpaint.
  25.  
  26.       Obviously if you want Dpaint to read it again, you
  27.       must rename it TOPAZ.font
  28.  
  29.   All the fonts are standard format and you should have no 
  30.   problems using them in other programs.

  32.   NB. Dpaint grabs it's fonts from the first disk booted so
  33.   you had better boot this disk then load Dpaint from Workbench.
  34.   Dpaint will ask for the font disk to be inserted as and when it's
  35.   needed. (2 drive users are laughing otherwise its swappity-swap)

  39.   Also on this disk is a font changing program.

  41.   (Non-CLI users can skip the next few lines if they wish)

  45.   Syntax:   Changefnt  FONTNAME.font

  47.   Where FONTNAME is the font's title E.g. Erics

  49.   I have used this program on the startup-sequence.

  51.   The font will replace the standard TOPAZ 8 font.

  57.   This is Version 2.0 of the 17 Bit font disk.

  59.   Version 1.1 died, well actually my 77K animated icon did!
  60.   Why does the Amiga seem to have a mind of it's own when
  61.   you say "Ah-ha I'm going to make a back-up!" the Amiga
  62.   has different ideas and corrupts the thing you've been
  63.   working on for the last three hours. Great fun!
  64.   Actually my 77K prize icon is lurking on this disk but it's
  65.   not doing much harm - if anyone re-incarnates it - let me know!

  68.   if you think an alteration is due, an improvement possible etc
